Esther is your average aging senior who found her way to recovery and health by following the McDougall Program for Maximum Weight Loss at the age of 72. Because switching to a plant-based diet affected every area of her life, including her spiritual journey, she is eager to share her story to anyone who is interested. Being healed of all of her diseases and the need to wear glasses and eliminating medication’s, some of which she had taken for 30 years, has lifted her to new heights. She records her daily food, intake, and inspirational messages to her followers on Facebook in Esther’s Nutritional Journey, 366 of these inspirational messages comprise the book she wrote: “From Donuts To Potatoes, My 366 Day Journey on a plant-based diet”. About nine months after making this change in her diet, her husband Ben followed her by eliminating animal dairy and oil from his diet at home and has lost his last 60 pounds. Esther, now 81, has continued to maintain her 130 pound weight loss for over five years.
